Unfortunately, amateurs of this kind of sport, but for the happiness of beachers, surfing and Samui Island are things that are almost incompatible. There's almost never a big wave here, and that's the island and it's the one that attracts pilgrims who don't like big ocean waves. There are no ocean waves, because Samui is in the Siamese Bay and is well protected from them and winds from all sides. Some waves can be "drink" in the lowest season, October-December, but it's like a maximum wave for starters. Windserfing

On some of the Samui beaches, the wind blows around a year, it's Boput and Maenam. Playing on the east coast can also please Windserfing fans, but only seasons. Lamaie and Chavenge can catch wind from November to April, but there's nothing else to do.

Kiteserfing
Kitesurfing or Kitebording (Kiteboarding) at Samui is one of the fastest popularity of water sports. The conditions here are just great: the wind, the waters are safe, the underwater rocks are small, the water and the air are warm round. As for the Windserfing, the best places for the round year are the beaches of Boput and Mae Nam, and in Lamai and Chavenge, the wind season lasts mainly from November to April.
The rental of equipment can be found without problems, especially on popular Boputo, Chavenge and Lamai. There are many schools and private trainers, but badly, and very many tourists. At Mae Nam's beach, natural conditions are great, people are small, and one of the well-known kiteserfing schools is located here.
