STAGNONE AND VITER
Stagnone has two types of winds: north (N, NE, NO) and south (south-west and south-east).
North wind: stable, clean but strong.
South is Western: nervous and vicious.
Stagnone lagoons create channels that accelerate wind speed. It also makes a small-seater that warms the sun and adds the thermal effect.
The cold temperature of the high seas and the warmth in the lagoon ( Stagione) create the thermal wind from the north and south.
The whole summer weather season is good.

At Birgi's location near Trapani airport, you'll find the station, the post office, the bars (the most famous Bar SARO), the pharmacy and a lot of stores.
Night life
The real beauty of Stagnone is at sunset. The fascinating sunset of the Egadi and Marsala islands will charm you with an amazing natural picture. The best place to love sunset is Mamacaura.
There are many restaurants where you can enjoy a local kitchen (marsala) consisting of an Arab and sicilian kitchen.
The most famous meal is a bite of fish. Also known are sicilian sweets with ricotto: canoli, cassate, cassatelli. In the summer evening, a few minutes in the car, and you'll be on the open discotheque of Chiediluna, and a few minutes further, you'll reach the historic Marsala centre where the old market is. It's a fish market this afternoon, and tonight is Marsala's fun life. Night bars, live music and many interesting meetings.
