Sheltering
Every surfer, coming to a country with access to the ocean, is necessarily looking for suitable surf spots. Looking for it because not every beach is good for it, it turns out. I haven't even tried the surfer at all, but I've been talking to the prosexionals and they've told me something I didn't know. For example, I thought if there were waves, that means you could take a board and take them down. But, no, no, no, no, no. There are different types of waves. And there are different beaches where different waves are. There's got to be a special wave for the earl. It should be long. I mean, turn around gradually and long. It's followed by another wave in time. Everything in order, no drilling and no chaos. It also matters the size of the waves, the small ones for newcomers, the more for amateurs and the dangerous-holic for fans. It's important that the bottom be safe, without stones and reefs.
There is a place in Sri Lanka that has loved the servers of the world. There's even an annual surfer championship. This place is called Arugam Bay. Suddenly the Gulf (Buchta) Arugam. In fact, a town in a painting place on the coast of the big bay.
Position
Arugam Bay is located on the south-east coast of Sri Lanka. Looking at the map, from the right side of the country, closer to the bottom.
You can get here from Colombo by a straight train (350 km, about 9 hours driving). You can come from Colombo on a bus to Pottuville and from there on a tuck or a local bus. Pottuville is a big, local, town with a large transport connection. There are even supermarkets, markets, banks. Anyway, if you need civilization, it's 3 miles from Arugam.
If you're in the Yala National Park, there's only 50 km in the car to Arugam. Marshrut is very vivid and interesting. The road goes through another national park. And you can meet safari elephants who go out on the track to vow the flavors, you'll still have to see buffaloes and pavlains, less reindeer, all other wings, and little pussy non-videal beasts. And the species are very beautiful from the window.
