Windsserfing is a water-based entertainment and sport using a small-scale lung-size board (2-4, 7 m) made of floating material. The board shall be activated by sail, joined by a flexible element, the charnier. This projectile is also known as Windserfing, or a collateral dose.

Windserfing can be regarded as a hybrid of a sailing vessel and a surfing itself. The steaming board is like a small boat, but with important distinctions: it is not steering, it is a sail-inclination slope, but it is a glysing mode and a board slope from side to side. The purpose of the athlete is to position the sails relative to the wind in a manner that gives rise to the power of traction on a sailing board. The force operating on the sails is transmitted to the board not only through the mast but also through the athlete ' s legs, driving the design. The sailing board is in the course of shifting the sail forward or back along the board, and also turning the sail around the mast.

Sports on the board, Windsfers, can slide in smooth water any time long with wind. They can also ride on large waves until the wave collapses, and make effective jumps. Windsörfing is a multi-dimensional sport: depending on the individual ' s bias, one can give unsuccessful water sliding, combined with natural recreation; others may be an explosive adrenaline sport. What characterizes modern Windsörfing is often the style of life as a means of endless improvement and self-expression.

Windserfing is possible with any wind power that is different from zero.

The rolling may be divided into two species, in glysing mode and in water-resistant mode. In the watertight mode, the board shall be kept floating at the expense of the forces of the Arhymede and, in a glysing manner, to a large extent, by the uplift force. The gliding regime is more complex for development. Typically, a strong wind is required (about 6-7 m/s). At the same time, the widest raceboards (Formula Windserfing) with large sails can be glysed at a wind of 3-4 m/s.
