The Zanzibar Reserve Island, known as the island of spices, lies 40 kilometres east of the continental coast of Tanzania (the eastern coast of Africa), 700 kilometres south of the equator. One of the most charming places in the Indian Ocean and one of the world ' s oldest trading centres was known in times of noise and assyrians. The United Republic of Tanzania is located in East Africa. State area 945, 1,000 square kilometres. It consists of two parts, the mainland and the island (Zanzibar, Pemba, Mafia).
In the Middle Ages, the Sultan of Oman even placed his residence here. Arab influence is visible on the island and now: the architecture is clearly dominated by Arab motives, the vast majority of the population is Muslim and speaks Arabic. More than half of the island ' s landings are nails, cinnamons and other grains that have provided the island with glory and form the basis for its exports. The rest is covered by tropical plants and savannah.
The island ' s main virtue is the old Arab Stone Town, built in the 30s of the twentieth century by the Sultan Zanzibar as a new capital (entered into the UNESCO World Heritage Register). Nowadays, the Kamn City is a network of narrowly vibrant patches, miniature palaces, traditional Arab stone dwellings with towers and rubble gates, small shops, markets, mosques, fortification facilities. The tourist ' s attention is drawn to the old Arab Fort (1710-1780), the English Café (1873-1874), the Catholic Bowl (1893-1897), the Hindu Temple, the Malindi Mosque with a rare conjugate, the Aga Han Mosque and the Blue Museum of the Mosque 18
The island ' s merits include the city of Kisimkashi with the Shirazi Mosque, the oldest in East Africa, the Church of Saint John (XIX in). In Mazizini, the Mangapwani Cave complex, Kisimbani Sultan baths and Kidici. In Hosani's precinct forest, there are monkeys, cologos. There are dolphins at sea outside the village of Kisimkashi. The famous specialties plantations are vanilla, cinnamon, nail, muscal nuts, pepper, chicken, shafran, ginger, and other, often unknown, northern-born plants.
Zanzibar is a recognized divinga and snorkeling centre. Virtually all the island's shores are peanuts, and the shores are magnificent beaches.
